All Yellow

My favourite colour at the moment. It instantly cheers you up and is quite unusual, even in 2011. I remember loving the evening dress Kate Hudson wore when she got her man (and some diamonds) in the film How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, and every girl can remember Kate Moss's amazing vintage yellow dress she wore for a party hosted by Another Magazine in New York in 2003.  Designers belatedly followed suit with an bountiful array of the shade for the S/S 07catwalks. The most memorable being Christopher Kane's acid yellow body con mini dress, which preceded his sell-out collection for Topshop. And talking of Topshop, Yellow popped up in their A/W 11 show back in February. Yellow is the perfect colour to put a spring in your step and some sunshine in your heart, come rain or shine, and it suits everyone, so next time you're shopping, give it a chance- you may be suprised.
