I've kept this poster of ELVIS ever since I got it from a local pub near me very early on after moving to London in May 2008. Me & my housemate went in for a few drinks one evening and while we were ordering, I noticed a calender that was lying on the bar, its pages all loose, so I had a quick snoop and it turned out to be an Elvis calender. The barmaid noticed me admiring the various shots and said I could have it if I wanted- it was the Landlord's but since his Elvis themed 5oth birthday had come and gone that week they had taken it down. I felt bad taking it all (doh) so I just took this and another one of him in a baby blue suit, looking especially sharp, but that's lost now. This was my favourite one anyway, it was on my wall throughout my 6 months in the big smoke and I stuck it in my sketchbook at some point for safe keeping- I think the folds add to it.
It's also got Mod Elvis on the back, yipeee.
